Brother Bong - my older brother

Background of the Study

10:00am this morning, i received a
text message from Kuya Morris that Teacher Mayang can no longer teach
her piano students because she is leaving na from work.. Now.. Kuya
Morris says it is urgent.. i have to take over her piano classes today
and let my brother Bong take over my guitar lessons with Jerwin.. so i
said OK, no problem..

General Methodology

I prepared Jerwin’s guitar lessons and prepared my 10 year old
piano books and pieces for my class in piano.. Went to school around
3PM and found out that Jerwin is not going to make it sa guitar lessons
nya kasi conflict sa sched ng basketball practice nya in Ateneo.. fast
forward.. here comes 4PM Little Abby and Little John came.. oooohhhh..
they are so cute.. hhmm.. cute talaga basta hindi pure instik..kasi di
nagmumukhang..ehem..trisomy21! ehehe..i hope you know what that means..
anyway.. Kuya Morris warned me on Abby.. may topak daw.. so dapat
ilingaw2x mo nalang..hehe.. and yun.. may topak nga.. She told me..
teacher, teacher..what’s your name? So answered, I am teacher Kai..
teacher, teacher, what’s your favorite color? woah! i was struck with
that question.. so I still replied.. hhmm..blue.. Teacher, teacher..
you know i like orange.. So i smiled at her and yun.. So i asked her
where did she and Teacher Mayang ended in the John Thompson’s Easiest
Piano Course books.. she did not replied and i asked her pointing the
pages of the book .. Abby, are you done with this lesson already? Abby:
YES… and she kept answering YES until I am at the last part of the
book.. but thank goodness for kuya John that He told me that abby’s
lesson is on “Mary had a little Lamb” .. but Abby does not seem
interested with the lesson..kasi she said.,.teacher, teacher.. i want
to draw do re mi .. so i checked her envelopes.. and yes it contained
many long bond papers and crayons.. so i let her draw a staff but she
made me draw the G-clef..im having fun.!

teacher kai: abby, what’s my name again?
abby: teacher…. ahhhhmmm.. teacher…. aahhhmm.. teacher  KAI!
teacher kai:  yey..! hehehe
abby: *drawing na sya ng mga notes* *picks the color of her choice*
teacher kai: abby, can we play “Mary had a little lam” now?
abby: i dont like..
teacher kai: hhmm.. okay.. so what do you want to do..?
abby: play Mr. Bean’s ten-de-de-den!

so ako naman ay nagpauto sa bata and played mr. bean’s ten-de-de-den! abby giggled and laighed so hard.. and said…

abby: teacher kai, I love you..
teacher kai: what? what did you just told me…? *smiles*
abby: I love you..
teacher kai: ooohhh.. i love you too abby… hehe.. (you know.. that
was the most pleasant thing that i have ever heard from somebody today)

John: teacher, can you play barnie’s song?
teacher kai: yup! okay.. but you two have to sing with me, okay?
John and Abby: yes teach!

so i played barnie’s song.. i love you, you love me.. we’re a happy
family.. blah blah..wow.. okay pla maging teacher.. i checked the watch
and i still have to be with them for an hour pa..

Abby: teacher Kai.. can you play me another song?
teacher kai: ok then.. but promise me that you have to play “Mary had a little Lamb” after this, okay?
Abby: *nods*

then i played Brahm’s famous composition.. “joyful, joyful we adore thee”

abby: teacher, teacher.. teach me to play that song..
teacher kai: ok..

i held her tiny hand and made her touch those keys.. now i know she is
already enjoying.. but on the other hand.. kuya John is starting to
interrupt our class.. nagaplay2x na rin sya sa piano with the “mary had
a little lamb” tune..

abby: kuya, no!
john: i hate you.. you hate me.. hahaha..
abby: teacher, o!

teacher kai: hhmm.. john, please take that chair first and let abby concentrate.. you will have your turn later.. ok?
john: ok ok! :)
and then the story continues.. i ended up making abby play that “mary
had a little lamb” … i made her sat at my lap as we touch the piano
keys.. and then tickled her and laughed with the two kids.. wow! that
was really great.. so finally.. their dad arrive.. abby got up.. and
went to her dad..

abby: daddy, si teacher Kai o.. hehe..daddy..

then she sat at my lap again.. ooohhh.. she’s so heavy.. and we played
that “mary had a little lamb” again.. until she finally told me..

abby: teacher kai.. where can i drink water?
teacher kai: aahh…
abby: teacher kai.. im hungry.. pagod na ako..
teacher kai: okay then.. sige.. you can go now.. see you again abby..
abby: opo.. bye bye teacher kai.. i love you..
teacher kai: yes abby, i love you too..bye..

then she kissed me in the cheek and asked ..

abby: teacher kai, what is your shampoo.. your hair smells good..
teacher kai: thanks.. hehe… it’s head and shoulders..
abby: bye..

and they left..

haaayyy… what a wonderful day..

now im loving this work.. “teacher, teacher..”

hehehe…

it’s after a great rain that youll see rainbows

hhmm..weee…

how cope with depression and padepress-depressan lang.. hehe..

1. CRY and express your frustrations. Just drop a tear or two and okay na yan! hehe..well.. it depends on what type of person you are.. but.. it’s never the tears that count,.

2. TREAT your friends a half-a-gallon of ice cream. Preferably strawberry and vanilla icecream. It makes you feel better (kasi sweet) and it would make you think that entertaining the sad thoughts makes you spend a 100 bucks for it..mas masakit kaya sa bulsa un..hehe..attention diverted.

3. WATCH a bowling game with your friends in NCCC Mall, you will never get bored looking at the HullaMen and the Binibining Sexys out there.. and its fun to look at them..haha.. youll feel better about yourself, tell yah!

4. GO with your friends in MTS PARK (fresh air, green grasses, trees, benches, and birds).
Talk it all out. Cry if you want,. just remind your friends to bring some Kleenex!

5. THINK of your projects and exams in school. It’s much worse to cry over a failed exam and undone requirements than any other things in this world.

6. GO HOME AND HUG YOUR MOTHER, they love you and accepts even the most stupid part of you.. "sa tatay mo ka kasi nagmana" hehehe..

7. SLEEP, snoozing makes your mind relaxed.

8. THINK happy thoughts and feel great about yourself.

and if you still feel bad..or padepress-depressan lang..

9. BUY a box of Chuckie Milk Choco. Take a walk around the park and reflect on the issue that you are troubling with. ASK yourself why you are so sad about it. CONDITION yourself. YOU are not perfect. We do stupid things most of the time even if it really sucks.

10. HAVE A NEW LOOK. Go into a salon and make the beautician cut your hair short..hehe.. youll feel light and free..

hhmm.. i dunno if the ten things above would apply to you as it did to me.. yep, i actually did all that.. and now i feel better.. :)  just condition yourself that  worst things really come across our way and we cant avoid them. if we have done something really stupid, well at least we have learned our lesson..as homer simpson said "if you do something and you fail miserably, you have a lesson learned, NEVER TRY".. but that doesnt apply to all, ha? hehe.. Lastly,
Count your blessings. Be joyful. God is good and He is in Control. He does not play games on us. We just play stupid things with ourselves and then we blame Him for the result. We have freewill. We choose our own destiny, our own happiness, and our own badluck. haha.. yun.. im feeling good.. it’s when you start to rely your everything in GOD after a great rain that you’ll see rainbows.

love..
    family..
        and friends..
